Pokémon Tales: Extra is a special series of the Pokémon Tales franchise. It serves as the stories and background following the end of the franchise. It is created by Dioga beta.
Summary[]
While Pokémon Tales is finished, the stories never end. One year following the first year of the World Coronation Series, a new school opens in the seas of the Unova Region. Blueberry Academy takes prestigious from around the world and hones in on their talents to make them the strongest trainers to become the next Monarch. This story focuses on the 30 trainers at the top and lead the progress of the school.

This series was created to continue the development of the PT world 2 years after PT: Rainbow Rocket, and about 1 year after PT: Extra. It focuses on 30 new trainers, which were chosen from characters which debuted after the writing of the main franchise, characters that could never be fit into the main series, or minor characters that fit a theme. These episodes will air for Pokémon Fest or other special events.
Major PT characters and other prominent Pokémon characters that appeared in the PT franchise will appear as special guests.

- This series was created so I can write one-off episodes with a potential of making a storyline if I desire to.
- Kieran, Carmine, Trace and Peonia are the only regular characters to appear in the main PT franchise. Kieran and Carmine were shown as amateur trainers, Trace was a new trainer, and Peonia wasn't even a trainer.
- Several characters from the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC and the anime series Pokémon Horizons are featured due to being new and allowing for new writing prompts.
