Trivia[]
- While being similar to the Battle Frontier in the anime, it will have a mix of game elements as well. All Frontier Brains will feature at least one Pokémon that they used in the games (aside from Noland, due to his being random).
- Unlike previous series, which limited the number of next Gen Pokémon that appeared outside of specials/crossovers, this series will feature many Gen IV Pokémon, as the anime did.
- The Battle Frontier will feature many of the different battle styles featured that appear in later generations, such as Triple Battles, Rotation Battles and Inverse Battles.
- Characters that appeared previously in Pokémon Tales: Ian will make re-appearances.
- Due to Pokémon Sun and Moon coming out after the debut of this series, all movepools in this series will be based off Gen VI moves and TMs.
