Planning[]

Pokémon Delta and Pokémon Omega were going to be called "Pokémon Delta Version" and "Pokémon Omega Version". The Starter Pokémon were going to be Geckomp, Volca and Seaturqual. The idea was now changed. The games were revealed along with the non-Pokémon games, Super Mario 3D Galaxy, Sonic Elemental Dimensions and Skylanders: Creation. The two types are introduced. They are Beat and Cosmic. Beast is super effective aganist Normal and Fire type Pokémon and weak aganist Fighting-type Pokémon. Cosmic is super effective aganist Grass and Water type Pokémon and weak aganist Ghost-type Pokémon. They are now 851 Pokémon in the new region called Lunarmo which was going to be called Coranto. It is enough for two fully 3D Pokémon games.

Trivia[]

  • These games are the fourth and fifth games to not have the word Version in there names. First and second being Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Third being Pokémon Z.
  • The games' generation is the second generation to introduce two types. First being Generation II.
