- Nexus is inspired largely by DC's Young Justice.
- Characters from season one were able to be submitted from July 27th to August 2nd.
- According to the creator, a season two is "possible" depending on audience reaction. He confirms that it would likely focus on a new group of characters but carry on the same timeline.
- As of October 2021, Nexus has been officially renewed for a second iteration in collaboration with Pokémon Tales.
- Every member of Nexus' senior team is based on a character from pokemon's canon. While some have their identities known outright, others may be surmised by knowledge of pokemon canon.
