End Scene

Ash and Pikachu walk into a city, tired and exhausted. The sun sets and it's the evening.

Ash (tiredly): Well we finally got here, now to challenge the gym.

Ash and Pikachu walk through the city as Ash pulls out some Oran and Sitrus berries. They eat them quickly, smiling as they do. After a bit, they walk up to a massive building with a Gym symbol. He pushes open the double doors as a man meditating wearing blue jeans and not wearing a shirt.

Man: What are you doing here?

Ash: I want a gym battle!

Man: Okay, I'm Brock the Pewter City Gym Leader. How many badges do you have?

Ash: None, this'll be my first.

Brock: Ok, I'll be using 2 pokemon, you can use up to 6 pokemon. Substitutions are allowed. What's your pokedex number?

Ash: 0312607.

Brock walks to a computer typing out some details as Ash's Pokedex pings. Gym Leader Brock Slate has challenged you to a battle, accept or decline. Ash presses a green button on his pokedex.

Brock: So you've accepted, Geodude, lets rock!

Ash: I Choose You, Spearow!

Brock: You are aware, Rock type moves are super effective against flying types, and normal and flying type moves aren't very effective against Rock Types.

Ash: We'll still win, Aerial Ace.

Brock: Mega Punch!

Spearow speeds towards Geodude with Aerial Ace, as Geodude punches Spearow sending her crashing into the ground.

Brock: Rollout!

Ash: Assurance!

Geodude rolls towards Spearow at a medium pace with Rollout, as Spearow takes the attack before sending Geodude flying with Assurance. Geodude curls into a ball as it continues to roll. Geodude takes to the sky as it crashes into Spearow as she falls but manages to stay in the air.

Ash: Get him with Assurance!

Spearow's wing glows black with Assurance striking Geodude as it hits the wall but rebounds of crashing into Spearow with Rollout, as she falls to the ground unconscious.

Ash: Spearow!

Ash tries to run onto the field, but a barrier stops him.

Brock: There are barriers, they only allow trainer to throw pokeballs onto the field and the Mr Mime forming the barrier can choose if pokeballs can release pokemon in it. I also warned you about the type disadvantage. Do you wish to give up?

Ash returns Spearow as he turns his hat backwards.

Ash: No way, Pikachu, I choose you!

Pikachu jumps onto the battlefield through the barrier as he lands on his feet grinning.

Ash: Thunderbolt!

Brock: Such a fool. What backwater school did he go to? Rock Throw.

Pikachu launches a Thunderbolt, as Geodude takes it with no damage. Geodude uses Rock Throw as Pikachu is hit in the head and groans.

Ash (whimpering): Another pokemon l-like R-Rhyhorn!

Brock: He's scared of Rhyhorn's huh, Geodude is a Ground Type, a Pokemon Type that is completely immune to Electric types.

Pikachu curls into ball silently crying, as Ash shivers.

Brock: You two, get out. You're in no position to fight. You're forfeiting.

Ash collapses, as Brock looks in shock.
